New Work: Cardinal in Summer

I run nearly every Saturday and Sunday. Usually in the morning, if I'm not being too lazy. One recent Sunday on an early run, I saw a cardinal land on a low hanging branch on a nearby tree as I ran along the trail. He stayed on the branch until I was quite close, before taking off and flying over my head.

"Cardinal in Summer" is my expression of that experience. It was uplifting; the kind of moment that makes early morning runs worth it.

You can order a copy from Society 6 or Curioos. I'll also have a metal print and other signed copies at White Linen Night.
